Description:
Part shooter, part RTS, and part RPG, “Savage 2: A Tortured Soul” offers a gameplay experience unlike any other. Flavored with both sci-fi and fantasy elements, “Savage 2”again brings players so the land of Newerth. Here players must build structures, gain experience and work together to destroy the enemy’s Command Center. A game of “Savage 2” starts with the team deciding upon one person who will be the commander. The commander is in charge of all the strategy including building, tech researching, and economy. From there, the commander chooses squad leaders who, in turn, pick their squads. Players then choose a unit and make their way to the enemy’s Command Center. The teams, either the Legion of Man or the Beast Horde, have seven units to choose from. These units range from builders, assault, healers, and siege. Each unit has a mix of ranged and melee attacks as well as at least three special abilities. There are also three special units shared by both teams called the Hellbourne, special units which deal a great amount of damage to the enemy. In order to gain levels, players must gain experience. Experience is gained in several ways including killing the enemy, building structures, and healing your teammates. By gaining levels, players are able to upgrade their attributes and gain team bonuses. “Savage 2” is worth a try for any serious multiplayer gamer.
