“Soldat” is a 2D, action lan game. It shares similarities to such games as “Worms” and “Counter-Strike.” Each player is given a soldier, outfitted with a customizable weapon combination and jet boots. While there may be different objectives in winning each game type, the main purpose of each match is to shoot your opponents as quickly as possible. Fastest of all lan games ;)

Description:
“Soldat” (which is “Soldier” in Russian) is a 2D, action game. It shares similarities to such games as “Worms” and “Counter-Strike.” Each player is given a soldier, outfitted with a customizable weapon combination and jet boots. While there may be different objectives in winning each game type, the main purpose of each match is to shoot your opponents as quickly as possible.
There are seven multiplayer game modes to choose from. Although there are standard modes like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, there are also some variants of these that definitely spice up the gameplay. For example, the game mode “Rambomatch” has everyone searching for Rambo’s bow. The bow grants health regeneration and only the player with the bow is able to score points.
In “Soldat,” there are a total of 14 weapons, 10 primary and four secondary. Only two weapons can be held at a time, and it is up the player to decide upon his own weapon combination. What’s nice is that “Soldat” is one of those rare games where developers tried to actually balance the weapons so that no particular weapon combination is over-powered.
Most of the maps in “Soldat” are arena-type maps that facilitate a fast-paced, multiplayer game. A map editor is available as well so that there are countless customizable gaming experiences for you and your friends to enjoy.
