Swat 4 for PC Kicks Serious butt in Multiplayer Mode If you haven't played the Co-op mode for Swat 4 yet, what are you waiting for? Grab a few friends tonight and take down the toughest criminals around. The LAN version of multi-player mode is available for up to five players at a time. You can build your own missions or use one of the standard single player modes.
First let's talk about graphics. The characters in the game are fantastically rendered and after a while of while, especially if it's late at night, you even begin to identify with them enough that you can feel their pain when you make a mistake and get yourself killed.
The weapons and tools you can use are based off of the real life S.W.A.T. weapons. They include such lovely items as flash bangs, tear gas, shotguns, body armor, and a sneaky little device that lets you see around corners and under doors called the optiwand.
While the game definitely rewards methodical and careful play you and your team can still have an excellent time just trying to see how long you can survive in the old first person shooter method of running and gunning. You won't survive long of course due to the varying artificial intelligence of the criminals, but hey that's part of the fun!
Multi-player co-op mode is a must play for any true fan of the S.W.A.T. gaming line!
