When people think of LAN games most think Quake 4. With 14 maps and supporting up to 16 players you and your friends will have hours of fun just hunting each other down in Death Match mode alone. When you’re done with that you can shake things up with Team Death Match, Capture the Flag, Arena Capture the Flag and a Tournament mode to finally see who’s best.

Description:
Quake 4 + Friends = Great Fun!
Admittedly some of the maps in quake 4 are a little small for a full sixteen players but unlike the Internet if someone is killing you repeatedly in a LAN you can always throw something at them to get them to stop. Also unlike the internet where your fighting faceless opponents in LAN you occasionally will have to look at the pitiful face of the person you keep killing over and over. The Graphics in the game are some of the best out there. One of the things you’ll never get tired of his how simply great this game looks. In my opinion a good LAN game is one of the best ways to spend an evening. You see your friends, maybe make new ones and it keeps the game interesting. Sure the story mode is exciting but after you’ve played through it once, what’s left. With multiplayer you never really end up playing the same game twice.
