ArmageTron Advanced is an Open Source project based upon the legendary movie "Tron". The mode of playing should be fairly known to anyyone to ever have seen the movie: In Snake (aka Nibbles) - manner, it's the goal to wall your opponents in in walls of light. Armagetron Advanced comes in neat 3D graphics and is playable by up to 20 players in a LAN! Fun to play game and completely free!
Staple Blocks? Secure areas? Sounds odd, but it's great fun! By stapling and knocking over building bricks you try to reach the middle of the playing field. Now that's something different but very much fun for up to 8 players using LAN! Nice graphics, convincing physics engine, and all of that not being an FPS!! :)
Wormux is a (lan game) clone of the classical 2D Worms and its just as well that good. The small download of about 50MB is worth for the fan of Worms anyway. 28 lovely designed maps and 16 different worm skins. There are several weapons and he most proper remains unaffected except that it is for free.
To gamble for plastic stakes with your friends means great fun! Up to 10 players are invited to sit around the virtual table. The download size of only 14 megabytes adds to the decency of this Freeware title!
